Online Poker site announces it now has 20 million accounts

One of the leading online poker sites, PokerStars.com has announced that it has just signed up its 20 millionth player.
Whilst the news is certainly impressive, it is made all the more amazing when you consider that it now has more players than there are people in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago combined.
This is not the first time that PokerStars has made history.
In December 2007, the online poker site went into the Guinness Book of World Records for having the most amount of players online playing at one time: 151,758.
PokerStars is hugely popular worldwide and it seems that people keep signing up to the online casino because players never compete against the house- they only ever compete against each other.
Thrilled at reaching such an impressive milestone, PokerStars rewarded its 20millionth player, “Poposko” from Slovakia, with a special $215 tournament ticket.
