Cultural Differences?
- Interestingly, Spain differs to the rest of Europe in that in most European countries, it is middle aged women who enjoy playing bingo. In Spain, experts say that men are more likely to play bingo than women, with a split of 80% men, 20% women playing. This has been attributed to socio-cultural differences, or rather the infamous stereotype of Spanish men being 'macho' and still controlling the purse strings.
Time will tell how Spain takes to online bingo- so far for the main operators such as Winzingo, Juega Bingo Ya, Bingo Exclusivo, Botemania and Feria Bingo the results have been promising.
