Orbis Expansion Continues
27th February, 2008
Established in 1996, Orbis Technology Ltd have now become the world’s leading provider of interactive gaming and betting.
Orbis, an NDS company, have recently released another games package complete with a range of online casino and fixed odds games, as well as some unique concept games.
Their ‘Games Package 11’ introduces ‘Let it Spin’, a new unique, roulette style, online accumulator. Players place their chips on a wheel divided into 16 sections, four black and twelve white. The wheel is then spun and, when it stops, if it rests on white, all chips placed on a white number remain on the wheel and their payout will increase by 0.25 times. If it lands on black, the payout figure is increased 15 times and the wheel is cleared of all bets. This is when the winnings are paid out. This game has been designed to appeal to high rollers and betting enthusiasts.
Package 11 will also include enhanced OpenBet Casino games such as ‘Atlantic City’ and ‘Super Fun 21’. These are both variations on the classic blackjack game, designed to both improve game play and personalise aspects such as background sounds and chip colours.
Alongside the OpenBet casino games is the Fixed Odds Games, ‘Chain Reactors – All Sports’, a variation of the original ‘Chain Reactors’ game. In this sports orientated version players have to match 5 or more consecutive characters to win payouts.
The Orbis business strategy focuses on ‘continued quality content delivery’ meaning that they plan to continue releasing games packages featuring new and unique games for it’s customers. Also included in every package is access to all previously released package material allowing customers to gain access to a ‘vast and unrivalled’ library of games, including third party and branded content.
