In a deal signed with the Governor of Florida, the Seminole Tribe of Florida has now begun promoting gambling on TV ads.
Exclusive rights would be granted to the company for them to add table games including Black Jack and Roulette to seven casinos in the state.
The tribe has to pay in return for the exclusive rights, $100 million in year one and $150 million by year three. Plus a percentage of the revenue made.
The anti-gambling lobby has expressed criticism of the deal as has existing parimutuel industry which said the deal will have a negative effect on their business.
