PKR: Hotshot Operator of the Year

The 2008 eGaming Review Awards, where industry experts come together to honour the best in online gambling, was completely full of surprises but all the winners were certainly deserving of the recognition.
The award for Hotshot Operator of the Year went to one of the fastest growing online poker sites, and rightly so apparently, PKR, which is arguably the most innovative operator around – providing a three dimensional poker environment unlike any other.
“We are absolutely delighted with the award which not only considers our accomplishments over the last year, but also reflects our potential for the future,” said Malcolm Graham, CEO of PKR. “The honourable commendation capped off a great evening and we feel privileged to receive special mention and be recognised as such a big player in the online poker sector.”
The award for Hotshot Operator of the Year is reserved for the site that had the biggest impact on the previous 12 months and looks to have the brightest future over all. PKR was chosen over Everest Betclick and Betsson to receive the award, recognizing the great year that PKR had.
The site prides itself on providing a superior gaming experience and giving its players the most of what current technology has to offer.
PKR was also up for Poker Operator of the Year with 888.com, Party Gaming and Everest, and many believe that all were respectable candidates, which is a testament to how well PKR has done lately. Everest was given the award.
This was the fourth annual eGaming Review Awards, which was held in London, at the Park Lane's Grosvenor House Hotel on the 19th of September.
