PKR hold Charity Event

PKR.com is one of the worlds leading online gaming sites offering players the chance to take part in virtual 3D poker games. Thousands of users visit the site everyday to engage in some of the most technologically advanced games on the web.
Players can create their own avatar characters choosing their physical apperance, dress code and personality attributes. The site also holds several special events, including, WSOP qualifiers, knockout tournaments and charity events.
They recently teamed up with the One to One Children fund with the aim of raising as much money possible for disadvantaged children. PKR held a live event at London's Sketch restaurant with poker and back gammon taking place.
This was the third consecutive year the tournament had taken place and several celebrities showed up to support the cause. Beverly Pace won the event by followed closely by actor Michael Greco.
Several professional players also turned up including Roland De Wolfe and Donnacha O'Dea. Tickets cost £365 each and all of the money was given to the One to One organization.
