PKR joins with Unica to improve their e-mail programme

One of the world’s leading online poker site PKR have announced that they will be working closely with interactive marketing company Unica on a new international e-mail program to help improve further their innovative site.
PKR have decided to implement the e-mail software in an attempt to improve its technology system and is planned to be in place as soon as possible going into the New Year helping to persuade potential customers to return to the site and continue to play.
PKR have had a great success so far but believe by improving their retention plans they would be able to secure a considerable amount more each month. It has been reported that PKR.com sends around 10-12 million e-mails to its 3 million customer each month and they cover five languages that reach 200 countries as well as a weekly newsletter.
Working with Unica will enable PKR.com to perfect this service and have access to an automatic process which will detect and identify individual player’s behaviour, geographic location and send them e-mails accordingly.
The marketing director from PKR explained, “Our members value our unique online community, and we want to make sure that we tap into their passion to ensure that they keep coming back.”
A spokesman from Unica explained how their product with benefit PKR.com saying, “the objective is to send the e-mail at the time that the customer is likely to engage. They are seeking to drive relevance, higher response rates and efficiency by automating something that is currently manual.”
Other operators that are already working with Unica include the likes of 888.com and Full Tilt Poker and judging by their success rates, PKR.com should find this venture highly beneficial!
