Paddy Power Goes Mobile

Online bookmaker, Paddy Power has chosen Sweden’s Mobenga to provide its new mobile sportsbook according to reports from eGaming Review.

Paddy Power mobile will offer live betting and automated updates for televised sports events in addition to interface links to popular betting events.

The great thing is that the application has been built in a modular format which means that they can expand with additional features in the future.

Paddy Power mobile services manager Ciarán McGeehan said:" We are seeing more PC customers using our mobile application or mobile website due to the convenience offered by those services. We continually strive to extend and improve our mobile services so that anything a customer needs is just a finger tap away.”

Other sportsbook companies have also gone mobile, including Betfair. Betfair is one of the few operators to have developed its mobile offering in-house. It was beaten to the UK Mobile Operator of the Year Award by Probability.
