Paddy Power Performs Best For World Cup Betting
17th June, 2010

According to an article found on eGaming Review, Stan James and Paddy power were the most responsive online betting sites during the build up to England’s opening world cup game according to research from website performance monitoring company Gomez.
The research found that Stan James and Paddy Power customers only had to wait 3.8 and 3.3 seconds respectively to respond on their measures of availability, consistency and response times ahead of the game on Saturday.
Bluesquare was found to have the poorest results on responsiveness and consistency. Customers had to wait on average 12.5 seconds which rose dramatically during particular points throughout the day.
Although, similarly to Stan James and Paddy Power, Blue square did fare well on availability, with all three scoring 99%+. On this variable Victor Chandler did the worst being available only 81.77% of the time.
The company tested the online betting sites by going to the UK Homepage, navigating to the World Cup betting page then placing a bet on the England team.
Alan Hawley, egaming sector manager at Gomez said: “Recent industry research found that 78% of customers would switch to a competitor's Web site if they were subjected to a poor web experience.
“On the whole PaddyPower.com’s site performed best of all the companies in the benchmark delivering a fast response time and excellent availability.”
