22nd October, 2008
Paddy Power is a well respected betting and gaming brand. Whether its online at one of their various websites or visiting a high street bookie, customers trust and enjoy the service provided to them.
Even in the current economic climate, Paddy Power have announced plans to open several new betting outlets in the North west region of England. The plan hopes to increase the numbers of land based paddy power bookies in the UK to over 200 in the next three years.
Regional head of Development, David Berger, said: “Colliers CRE has a market leading reputation and a strong track record of representing aggressively acquisitive occupiers and we’re confident that they can help us achieve our targets.”
Associate Director at Colliers CRE Manchester Nick McAllester, said, “Paddy Power is an extremely strong brand throughout the betting world thanks in part to its humorous and sometimes controversial advertising as well as its innovative betting offers.
"We are progressing well with acquiring a number of new shops for Paddy Power and we look forward to continue helping them expand rapidly in the North West.”
Even with the growth of online betting sites, it seems that Paddy Power believe their is still room in the market for new high street stores in the UK.
