Parlay and Bingo Palace get the Green Light from Alderney

6th June, 2008

The biggest bingo software provider in the world has been granted license to operate in Alderney, along with one of the company’s operators, Bingo Palace.

Parlay Entertainment Inc is one of the world’s leading suppliers of bingo software solutions, powering more bingo operators with its software than any other. Parlay also has more players using its software than any other in the world, so the granting of an eGambling license by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission is just another step in the right direction for the organization.

For Bingo Palace to be granted the license, Parlay’s software had to prove that it complied with all of Alderney’s strict operating requirements and regulations. This now means that Bingo Palace is fully licensed to market its services in the UK, and Parlay software now has gaming licenses and certifications in Malta, the UK and Isle of Man.

Head of E-Commerce Development in Alderney, Robin Le Prevost, commented: “It has become quite clear that Alderney is attracting more than our fair share of the world’s leading bingo operators. Parlay and Bingo Palace were obvious omissions which we are delighted to see rectified. Alderney’s unbeatable combination of forward looking regulation, fabulous technical infrastructure and an unmatchable commercial environment takes us to new levels as an eGambling jurisdiction. Parlay and Bingo Palace are very welcome additions to our growing stable of first class operators and software developers.”

The BingoPalace.co.uk online brand is operated by Azul Europe, a licensee of Parlay Entertainment’s online bingo software. Senior VP for Parlay, Peter Trinz, envisages future success for the newly licensed brand: “We’re pleased that Parlay’s software has been approved for operation within Alderney, which is quickly becoming home to some of the world’s best gaming brands. Azul Europe is already well established with its Bingo Palace brand, and their new home in Alderney will give players in the UK the confidence that goes along with a safe, secured and trusted jurisdiction. The approval is also further validation of Parlay’s industry leadership position. Remote gambling operators can now run Parlay software in any one of Europe’s top tier white listed jurisdictions.”

Parlay Entertainment will be showcasing their new software, Parlay 5, at the Online Bingo Summit in London on June 17th and 18th, along with their new Bingo Nexus brand collaboration with Chartwell Technology.
