Playtech's 30 percent year on year growth

Playtech is the leading software developer, licenser and designer for the online and mobile gambling industry, and recently announced their interim half year results which show a 29.8% rise in gross income year - on - year, amounting to €66.9 million.
Due to agreements this year with NetPlay TV and Betfair, the past six months have seen a higher amount of income. The firm reported a gross income of €51.6 for this period last year.
Looking at more detailed figures, Playtech reported that their total revenues increased by 9.8% year on year to €56.7 Million, whilst the earnings (adjusted) before tax, depreciation, interest and Amortisation rose by 33.2 % to €44.3 from €34 million.
Their casino revenues were up by 2.2 % to €37.6 million from €36.8 last year, whilst poker revenues were up by 23.8% year on year to €17.3 million from €14 million.
Even with the challenging macroeconomic environment, Playtech has still seen an increase of revenue of 9.8%.
Chief Executive, Mor Weizer states that 'I remain confident that our industry-leading products and services, diversified licensee base and strong reputation will mean that Playtech continues to perform strongly.'
