Poker in the Park 2009

Poker in the Park is one of the biggest live poker events in Europe taking place in London's Leicester Square. The weekend is expected to attract some of the biggest names in online and live poker, with some of the pro's giving speeches and holding seminar's and lectures providing players with tips on how to defeat opponents.
Several competitions will also take place, including an event involving pub league players from around the Europe. Poker in the Park follows on from the WSOP in Las Vegas, continuing an action packed summer for fans of the game.
Poker in the Park has also setup a twitter page to help build up excitement for the event. Pro's of the game including Nick Persaud, Kara Scott and Tom Sambrook will be signing autographs.
Twitter is the most recent social networking 'micro blogging site' allowing users to update their followers with information. Increasing numbers of businesses and events companies are using the services of twitter to communicate information to their customers.
