Poker is Not a Crime - US Petition surpasses 320,000

The petition was constructed and is maintained by the Poker Players Alliance (PPA) and is personally addressed to President Obama and was initially aiming to reach 200,000 signatures.
However, due to an influx of interest due to a wave of online publicity, the petition has managed to rocket past its target, and has now surpassed 320,000 signatures.
‘I am a voter and a fellow poker player asking for your support of my right to play games of skill like poker on the Internet.’
The petition labelled ‘Poker is not a crime’ is designed to raise awareness as to the amount of people who want to see online poker legalized within the USA, and will hopefully add to the recent effort to legalise online gambling within America.
