Punter Change Their Bets

England players will not be able to sit around licking their wounds for too long. With the next test in the series starting on Friday, there is only a few days for England to turn round their depressing performance and play like supporters expect them to.

After their crushing defeat on Saturday by the West Indies in Jamaica. Bookies have made a U-turn on betting odds, from making England almost certainties to win the test and overall series.

Bet365 now make West Indies odds-on favourites to win the series, at 5/6, while England are 12/5 and the draw is 11/4. It's 7/2 for West Indies to win it 2-1, 18-1 for a whitewash and just 4/1 for England to turn it round and win 2-1.

West Indies Hammered England by an innings and 23 runs on day four of the first test, which will bring back memories of the 47 all-out England delivered the West Indies a couple of years ago. Then the series end 3-0, the question is will this start, spell the same for England.

England now have 3 days of intense training before the second starts in Antigua on Friday There is still a chance that England can turn the series around. Captain of West Indies, Chris Gayle, was quoted as saying “England are still the better team, we are a team building for the future.”

This still hasn’t filled punters with much hope however as a high street bookmaker manager, reported that “punters have totally changed their bets, it was such a shock for us (England) to get beat so badly”.
