Royal Ascot to Begin Tomorrow

Both online and land based bookmakers will be running at full capacity this week as Royal Ascot, one of the summers biggest betting events, starts tomorrow.
Hailed as one of the world’s greatest horse racing meets, and one of the defining events of the British summer, Royal Ascot saw more than 450 runners from around the world enter last year, including horses from New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and South Africa.
Attracting the highest caliber of racehorses, Royal Ascot is almost three hundred years old, and is has one of the most beautiful courses with the stunning background of Windsor Great Park.
Riders and horses will compete in 17 Group races over the 5 days with 7 Group 1 championship races due to run.
According to Royal Ascot’s official website, tickets for the final day on Saturday have sold out, however tickets for weekdays are still available.
Wednesday is full of exciting meets, with The Queen Mary Stakes, Prince of Wales Stakes, King Edward VII Stakes and Royal Hunt Cup all featuring.
