Scaling back on retail business

Players of Cantor’s casino and poker gaming sites, will be unable to play as usual for the foreseeable future. This comes as Cantor shutdown its sites on Friday and Monday, which it described as a ‘scaling back of its retail-oriented gaming businesses.

Both cantorcasino.com and redloungecasino.com websites were closed for business at 1pm on 28th November and Cantorpoker.com stopped taking bets at 4pm on 1st December.

Regular players were greeted by a notice on the sites stating Cantor would not be taking any more wagers and that customers could redeem any funds on deposit.

The company released a statement saying, “Cantor Gaming Malta One Limited has decided to cease serving retail customers in order to focus on its rapidly expanding involvement in wholesale markets with the licensing of its proprietary technology, software, content, intellectual property and data to online casino operators and resort-based casino operators, the latter following extensive trails and the authorities approval of its eDeck mobile gaming device in Nevada.”

Approval was granted just last week for the device to begin operating its moble gaming devices within approved areas of Nevada, following trails for the device at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

Starting with M Resort Spa, Cantor will roll the product out to other casinos next year.
