Setanta enter the e-gaming market with ChiliGaming

According to an article at EGR Magazine, Setana Sports is to launch its own online gambling service alongside France’s Chiligaming.
Setanta is an Irish broadcaster of events such as the English football premier & champion’s leagues, the Europa League, Top 14 and Formula 1 operating channels in Ireland, Australia and Canada. By launching online gambling services, Setanta will be the first Irish broadcaster to enter the market.
Co – Founder of Setanta ‘Michael O’Rourke commented saying that ‘This partnership showcases the potential for a media organisation to target its own audience with its own gaming product. We believe that we can enhance the entertainment experience of our customers with premium sports and gaming products, and are confident that this will allow us to become a key player in the Irish gaming industry.’
This joint venture will allow ChiliGaming entry to over 600,000 homes, Alexandre Dreyfus said ‘In addition to the online betting, we will jointly promote Chilipoker in Ireland and will become the new premium home for Irish poker players’
The new service will be called Setantabet.om which will launch on the 1st of February utilising the odds Matrix platform that Chili currently use for their own Chilibet site, however the Setanta online poker site will launch under the Playtech licensed Chilipoker name.
