Bwin to renew Real Madrid sponsorship

According to eGaming Review, online bookmaker, sporting bet is to join the London Stock Exchange’s main market during the next six months, hopefully by April.

The move to the London stock exchange will see sporting bet move from the alternative index market (AIM) which is the London Stock Exchange’s junior bourse to the main market. This was announced at the same time of the 2009 results which showed earnings before interest tax depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rise by over a quarter from £31m to £39.7m, a 28% rise.

The money was accompanied by a rise in amounts wagered during the period up 13% from £144.3 and £163.6m during 2008.

Andrew McIver the group chief executive of sportingbet said that the move “will provide the basis for Sportingbet’s continued growth and success.”
