Stan James Moves Up The Ranks!

Reports from eGaming Review say that online bookmakers, Stan James, has recovered from a four month decline and has become the third most popular bookie on odds comparison site Oddschecker during September on a ranking of the top 10 bookmakers on the site.
Rivals, William Hill and Paddy Power were knocked from their previous third and fourth positions in the rankings during September on the site which sees over 600,000 unique visitors per month. It has been suggested that Stan James’ Horse and Golf betting punters helped reverse the decline in its portion of Oddschecker traffic which has been notable since April.
Simon Miller, Oddschecker’s commercial manager, said “The big mover this month was Stan James, which jumped up to third place from fifth last month. A particularly strong performance on Ayr Gold Cup day plus their traditional strength on golf throughout the month was enough to edge them ahead in the race for third.”
On the odds comparison site, Golf is the third most popular sport as it tends to have a wider range of prices. Football is clearly the sites most popular sport especially due to the start of the English football season.
However the top spots in the rankings continue to be held by Betfair and bet365.
