Stanford at GTECH joins hall of fame

Donald Stanford, the acting chief technology officer and fellow at GTECH has been inducted into the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame.

GTech is a subsidiary of Lottomatica, one of the world’s biggest commercial lottery operators and have revealed that Donald Stanford was honoured at an official ceremony during the NASPL conference in Olahoma City on the 7th October.

The Lottery Industry Hall of Fame, founded by the public gaming research institute in 2005, recognises people who strive to make the lottery industry as successful as it is today.

Places are reserved for individuals who represent excellence, integrity and perseverance throughout their career and are nominated by fellow inductees.

“Don’s technological savvy and business acumen were instrumental in designing the first-ever dedicated lottery point-of-sale terminal, the GT-101, which led the way to GTECH’s first lottery contracts,” Commented Jaymin Patel, Chief Executive Officer for GTECH.
