Tasmania added to DCMS' whitelist
14th January, 2008
The UK’s Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has confirmed today that it has added Tasmania to its ‘whitelist’, meaning it is allowed to advertise its remote gambling products in the UK. James Purnell MP, the Secretary of State, also told how he has decided not to award the same prerequisite to Canada's Kahnawake region or Antigua.
Tasmania joins Alderney and the Isle of Man on the new UK whitelist.
