The Betting Channel has launched to viewers on the internet

It was announced today that punters are able to access expert analysis of sporting events from around the world from a brand new online television service offered to the public from The Betting Channel.

The dedicated sports channel began streaming last week for two hours a day offering punters access to all the latest information on betting events.

TV presenter Alan Bentley explained, “After such a long time spent working on this project, it’s a very exciting time for the whole team and me personally. We believe the immediacy of our offering will prove attractive because punters will be able to obtain continually updated sports news and odds as soon as the news breaks.

He continued, “And by using an internet platform to broadcast, we offer an immediate global reach. There’s so much planned for the Channel that I’m not sure how we’ll fit it all in. But we’re very hopeful for the sustained success of The Betting Channel for the future.”

Since the start of the channel last week, there has been a lot of attention and it appears to be very successful. The channel obtains its content from Satellite Information Services Limited, which is also the outside broadcast production providers for the BBC.

The show boasts guests including the likes of Alan Brazil and Perry Groves and there are already plans to extent the program to six hours a day from two! The Betting Channel looks set to be a huge success and only time will tell how the punters react to the service!
