OK. So we all know that online bingo is massive. It's been one of the fast growing industries in the UK since the turn of the millennium ,attracting over 3 million players every year.
The benefits are there for all to see. No longer do players need to visit the local hall to participate in games as they can play in the comfort of their own home.
But what's the next Bingo boom going to be? Well, many believe that mobile gaming is the future with the increased use of online equipped hand held devices such as I Phones and Blackberries.
The numbers of people playing bingo on this format is increasing with operators such as Gala and Mecca offering mobile gaming for their users. Being able to play bingo in the palm of your hand will complete the modern revolution the games has seen in recent years.
10 years ago the games was still played only in local halls, now there's a whole new host of opportunities for operators.
The UK government have also been debating whether or not to allow the construction of super casino's. These could provide the perfect environment for land based games as players could participate in bingo and other games in one specialist area.
If these Casino's are built and mobile gaming takes off, the UK bingo industry could continue to attract new players furthering the growth of the game.
