Virgin Predicts Double Figure Growth
17th February, 2010

According to eGaming Review it has been announced that Virgin games has finished its two and a half year platform building process. Chief Executive Simon Burridge is set to monetise the new operation, pledging 100 new games this year and predicting double figure growth during 2010.
Burridge said: "We've all been working hard over the last two years to make the leap from what was essentially a games marketing business to becoming a fully fledged operator. We now have a bespoke built platform capable of bringing on the best games from a multitude of providers, making us one of the most diverse online gaming companies in the UK market.”
The online gaming operator migrated its player based onto its new bespoke platform at the end of last year, which was developed by the company’s London based development team and enables cross play between bingo, casino and poker.
Additionally, Virgin games have introduced a 24 hour UK call centre, an in-house affiliate software system with revenue share and CPA campaigns available. Virgin has seen revenue growth of 20% since September 2009, according to Burridge, and with more than £450m worth of bets placed in 2009, he thinks that there will be further growth as a result of the new platform.
