William Hill Sign ITV Deal
22nd February, 2010

According to reports from eGaming Review, William Hill and ITV had signed an online and broadcasting partnership deal which will allow viewers of sport on ITV and ITV.com benefit from exclusive gaming offers through a promotional website powered by William Hill; where customers can bet on live events and watch virtual horse and greyhound racing, as well as football.
A campaign pushes William Hill’s online services by offering people a free bet for signing up. The on air creative campaign was negotiated directly by ITV Commercial with William Hill and was launched last weekend during the fifth round of the FA cup.
ITV Commercial account director Steve Chambers said: “As the home of free-to-air live football in the UK, ITV is a natural brand fit with William Hill.”
This is not the first egaming and TV deal that has happened this month. NetplayTV and the STV Group have signed a two year, six day per week TV broadcat deal to take advantages of new rules from Ofcom which allows TV gambling programmes to be aired between midnight and 6am daily.
