Worlds Largest Land Based Gaming company moves online

The growth of online gambling has been rapid in recent years, with millions now taking part in internet games. Bingo, sports betting, poker and casino are all now extremely popular and more traditional land based brands are now moving online.
Businesses such as Ladbrokes, William Hill and Rank all started off as high street gaming or betting venues, but the recent internet revolution has resulted in many opening interactive and virtual gaming sites.
Harrah Entertainment, the world leading land based operator, has also recently announced they will be opening and online site. Famous for their lavish super casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, Harrah will plan a European strategy involving some of its biggest brands.
Currently they own around 50 casino is the US, and Chairman Gary Loveman, said, 'As the world's largest gaming company, Harrah's is taking a proactive approach toward international and interactive expansion'.
If the US federal government legalize internet gaming, the market opportunity would be huge for Harrah.
